~Forest Friends Santa~ on e-Bay this week!

I have just listed my first of the season hand sculpted Santa.He is created using paper clay over a large cypress tree knee. He stands 18" tall x 8" across the base. HP with acrylics and lightly antiqued for a warm old world look. I wanted to share him here with you~ Thanks for looking!

~First Snow~ Original Art on Natures Canvas~ on e-Bay this week!

I really enjoy painting on these tree fungus pieces. I call them "Natures Canvas" They are very dimensional and no two are ever alike. This piece has an added branch that twists up one side and wraps around the bottom. I have sculpted a tiny owl out of paper clay on the top of the branch and added a hand painted wooden Jol to the bottom of the branch.
I really enjoyed creating this one! I wanted to share it here with you~

HP Vintage Halloween Lamp~ on e-Bay this week~

I just finished painting this little vintage metal lamp from the 50's era. I just love the colors in this one. The colors are slightly more muted than most of my Halloween art. The shade is painted with a focus painting on opposite sides so it can be turned to display the side of your choice. Hope you like it~
